Share with us a little about yourself and what you do. I am a massage therapist.

I use touch to help manipulate tissue to allow proper movement and alignment of muscles. My focus is primarily on therapeutic massage techniques specifically targeting children athletes. I figure if I can help to educate them early, not only are we helping them become better athletes, but we are also helping to prevent possible long term injuries.

Why is the work that you do important to you? The community? Health is Wealth. I take all that I’ve learned about our bodies and I help to educate the next on making sound choices when it comes to our olakino.

Share with us the qualities of leadership you admire and how you express those in your life. Be honest fair and consistent. Communication is key. Listen to understand instead of react. Practice what you preach. I practice these things daily and consistently… slowly learning

Who has inspired you to do the work that you are doing? My KEIKI. It is my dream to be able to pop up a tent at all of our community kids sports events and offer free bodywork to student athletes. Be on the sidelines of high school football games helping the team prep for a game or educate them about proper body mechanics.
