Share with us a little about yourself and what you do. 

I am a musician, songwriter, and producer that has been performing music professionally since 2014. Over the last 7 years, I have been fortunate enough to receive multiple songwriting awards and a Na Hoku Hanohano award for engineering.

Why is the work that you do important to you? The community? 

I have seen first-hand how music (my own or otherwise) have had a positive impact to those who listen. Therefore, I'd like to believe that my work – and pursuing creative art mediums in general – can be an emotional and physical outlet for those that need it. Creative arts can also help to create community, so I hope to create a stronger, more diverse community through music.

Share with us the qualities of leadership you admire and how you express those in your life. 

I admire consistency and perseverance in a leader and I strive to reach that everyday by using my work ethic and encouraging those around me to never give up on their endeavors.

Who has inspired you to do the work that you are doing? 

My mother was the driving force behind pursuing music from a very young age. Although she passed before I started pursuing music professionally, I still consider her influence the driving force behind my career and dedicate a lot of my success to her faith in me as a kid.

Advancement
