Founder and operator of Aloha Mortuary. Involved with sustainable business development in all areas of business. Perpetuating Hawaiian values through modern business development and practices.
Why is the work that you do important to you? The community?
The work is very important to me because we help provide end of life celebration services for families. Our love and care for Hawaii and its people are prevalent in our delivery of services. We fight for the rights of those that want to chose how they are laid to rest. We also spearheaded into law Act 294 for water cremation in Hawaii which will keep the long bones in tact for traditional native Hawaiian burials. We offer highest degree of standards and quality into our care of loved ones that have passed and families that are still here to celebrate their lives with honor.

Who has inspired you to do the work that you are doing?
Many people have inspired me to do the work that I am doing. I believe that the work I am doing is Akua has led me and continues to guide me. I never never imagined that I would be starting or working in a mortuary. Although I am involved in many different business segments, I believe the work I am doing with the mortuary and its verticals is most critical for our people right now. A company and its people looking out for their backs and best interest behind closed doors, which many corporations cannot claim they do. That is why local businesses are critical to support. At the heart of it, we truly care.
