Share with us the qualities of leadership you admire and how you express those in your life.
Too often leadership is defined as a one who delegates and makes "it" happen. A leader makes inclusivity happen. In my opinion, a leader empowers others to be involved; to allow one's skills to create and works toward a common vision/goal with the team. A leader recognizes the gifts and talents of team members and enhances the team member to perform by assigning a task to consummate the vision. A leader "coaches" the talented team that he or she surrounds her or him self with. A leader listens and allows others to participate. Leadership is a strength of having many hands and many hearts involved to complete a project with success. Lead with Aloha. My expression of leadership is ongoing.
Who has inspired you to do the work that you are doing?
My brothers ( George Jarrett Helm Jr.; Gregory Giles Helm; ) and my community elders .
